Our Mission:
“H.” Helping communities “E.” Elevate through “R.” Resources, “O.” Outreach, “E.” Education, and “S.” Scholarships!

No program is successful without the support and help from Volunteers!

We are currently seeking volunteers to donate two/three (2 - 3) hours a month, (When you are available), to support The Mentoring & Scholarship Program. The program dates are January 2024 - June 2024 and will consist of monthly educational workshops, mentoring and/or, job shadowing opportunities for our program participants community involvement activities and the annual Scholarship Ball scheduled for June 22, 2024.

By building our network and working together, your assistance, skills, and talents could be applied in various ways with limited time commitments. Some volunteer opportunities can be conducted via conference calls or from your favorite chair in the comfort of your own home! 2024 Mentoring & Scholarship Program
Committees

Registration & Education Committee:

Focuses on being the first point of contact with the girls and their families to answer questions and or research and obtain direction from a Member of the Board or Advisory Committee. Committee members will assist participants in completing registration application and obtaining all documents, (i.e. essays, transcripts, recommendations), etc. (May be other needs to arise).

Social Committee:

Focuses on the planning, coordination, logistics of workshops/activities for educational and sisterhood bonding and determine if meetings will be via Virtual or Social Distancing Venues (i.e. Bowling, Team Building, Guest Speakers, Community Service, Dance Lessons, Etiquette Classes, etc.) (May be other needs to arise).

Hospitality Committee:

Works closely with the Social Committee and focuses on the planning and coordination of light snacks. Will work on obtaining donated items and small purchases for workshops/activities during educational and sisterhood bonding at social distancing venues (i.e. Bowling, Team Building, Guest Speakers, Community Service, Dance Lessons, Etiquette Classes, etc.) (May be other needs to arise).

Event and Planning Committee:

Focuses on all details related to the ball. Including logistics, decorations, theme selection, ad purchases, securing photographer for headshots and for formal Princess pictures for the souvenir book, approval of final ball gown selections, etc. (May be other needs to arise).

Finance, Fundraising, Silent Auction Committee:

Focuses on the collection of all monies from the Princesses, Sponsors, Donations, Ticket Sales, Silent Auction, etc. Also responsible for preparing and presenting Scholarships, Awards and Fundraising events. (May be other needs to arise).

Public Relations Committee:

Focuses on the preparation of all public relations, media, advertising, photos, newspaper, church/organization announcements, and promotions for and about The Princess Mentoring & Scholarship Program and The Scholarship Ball. (May be other needs to arise).

We are currently seeking Sponsors and Philanthropic Donors for our Princess Mentoring & Scholarship Program to aid in the development and production of workshops, materials, trainings, scholarships, and preparation to present these youth during our “Rites of Passage” Scholarship Ball - tentatively scheduled for June 22, 2024.
